In the “Best Bread Machine Reviews” series we are reviewing the first Zojirushi Bread maker today. Zoijrushi is a popular choice for bread machines. The company was established in 1918 in Japan and came up with its first “Home Bakery Bread Maker in 1988.
The Zojirushi Home Bakery Supreme Bread Maker BB-CEC20 has all features that a beginner would need on a bread machine. Besides a recipe book, it also comes with measuring spoons to assure exact measuring of ingredients. Inaccurate measurement is usually the number one cause for failing bread. Besides the functions that a beginner will look for, the BB-CEC20 also comes with a special, the “sourdough starter”. This could be interesting for those who like to experiment with different types of bread or just for those who love sourdough bread. The only feature missing is the “Adjustable bread size” but by reducing the the ingredients you can also do this manually.

  • There are many more positive than negative reviews on Amazon. The negative reviews are mainly about the quality of the bread that is produced by this machine. The quality of bread could very well be influenced by the ingredients (and/or accurate measurements) from the user.

Today we are reviewing the first Cuisinart Bread Maker in the  Best Bread Maker Reviews  series. Cuisineart became a player in the kitchen cooking appliances when it developed the ‘food processor’ about 30 year ago.
